Joe, I was at the Exile on Carson Street performance and I thought you did a great job on "I just want to see his face". It was quite evangelical. It could have been a church sermon.
Thanks again for a great performance.

Exile on Main Street...the Holy Grail of rock and roll. Didn't make the show, and sorry I missed it. From the audio I've heard, most of it sounds really good. Check this video out...the dude that sang Loving Cup, just freaking NAILED IT. ANd he knew the words. That's big. Captured the spirit of my all time favorite Stones tune. Great job...

Wow thanks for the links of Exile....that was Joe's best vocals on Gimme Shelter ever...the two female background singers were amazing too.
Speaking of links, here's one that was in the Cleveland Plain Dealer today about Hank LoConti and his original tapes from the Agora in Cleveland. This is interesting for Bruce fans and bootleg collectors but I ask again, is there anyway we can get to see the DVD of the Iron City Houserockers in their prime? There should be two ICH DVD's from there. Congrats on Exile.

We had a great time playing Exile on Sat nite. The musicians did a tremendous job and my Keith fantasy is now complete. I had the honor of recording with Steve Cropper back in the day. It was like taking a college from a grand master. We never got to meet Duck Dunn but he was loved by Steve. Steve also said he was the world's best bass player.

Hi Joe,
We know you worked with Steve Cropper. Did you ever meet or play with Duck Dunn?

Hey folks!
To the sold out packed in crowd that attended the Exile on Carson Street show, aren't we lucky we went?
Every song was like the last song of the evening.
Joe, Joffo, and Art played on every song. Joe sang lead on Honky Tonk Woman, Gimmee Sheleter, Shine a Light, Stop Breaking Down, See His Face, Ventilator Blues, and Casino Blues.
Rick, Joe, and Rob took turns on lead guitar and the all important Keith Rhythm guitar. It sounded better than you could have imagined or hoped for.
Thanks for the hook up and the great show. Pure happiness and excitement for two and a half amazing hours.
